What is the Risk Reward value on stock market ?

The risk-reward value, also known as risk-reward ratio, is a measure used in the stock market to assess the potential return of an investment relative to the amount of risk taken on. It is calculated by dividing the expected profit of a trade by the potential loss if the trade goes against you.

For example, if you buy a stock at $50 with a target price of $60 and a stop-loss at $45, your potential profit is $10 and potential loss is $5. In this case, the risk-reward ratio is 2:1 (10/5), which means you are risking $1 to potentially gain $2.

A high risk-reward ratio, such as 3:1 or 4:1, indicates that the potential profit is higher than the potential loss, and therefore the trade may be considered more attractive. However, it’s important to note that a higher ratio may also imply a higher level of risk, so it’s essential to carefully analyze the market and evaluate the potential risks before making any investment decisions.
